Blacky von Neuen Lande Blacky is one of the World Class dogs that are included in Bodo nom Leamarco's pedigree. In 1992 Blacky, with his handler Wilfried Lueneberg, won the German Championship (Bundessieger Prüfung) in Baunatal with an incredible score of 99-99-98 - 296 - one of the highest scores ever. In the 1993 Bundessieger, Blacky
with Wilfried Lueneberg, scored 100 points in tracking, 100 points in obedience
and only 84 in protection. Wilfried was trying to "improve" on
Blacky's protection score and apparently "went the wrong way" and
broke up the "combination" resulting in an overall score of 284. Blacky was prepared for the 1993 big trials by Manfred Issel and after some "repair work" on the protection phase, was Blacky and Manfred were crowned World Champion in 1994. It was a tough World Championship with tight judging and tough conditions, but Manfred handled Blacky impeccably and scored a fantastic 97-98-95 - 290 to take the Champions trophy.
